Effects of PD98059 and GF109203X on TF mRNA. (A) A representative autoradiograph from three separate experiments. (B) Effects of PD98059 (30 μM) and GF109203X (2 μM) on TF mRNA levels. ECV cells were incubated with or without indicated inhibitors for 1 hr and then bFGF was added. Cells were incubated for 4 hr. Total RNA was isolated and analyzed by Northern blot. PAI-1 mRNA levels were analyzed by densitometry and normalized to β-actin signals. Values are means ± SD (n = 6) of fold increase over control without bFGF. *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01.
