From: Circulating microRNA-126 in patients with coronary artery disease: correlation with LDL cholesterol

The correlation between LDL cholesterol and the circulating levels of miR-126 in patients with CAD risk factors but no significant CAD lesions was analyzed. Circulating levels of miR-126 were increased in patients without CAD who were showing higher levels of LDL cholesterol (n = 36). Significant positive relationship was observed (R2 = 0.1055). Kendall τb (coefficient of correlation) =0.245, significance probability p = 0.037.
