Prevalence of DVT decreased with serum creatinine levels only in the direct ARDS group. The occurrence of DVT in the direct ARDS group (red line) decreased with increasing serum creatinine levels, whereas serum creatinine levels had no association with DVT in the indirect ARDS group (blue line; test for interaction, P = 0.006).
