Influence of (p-BthTX-I)2 K on the enzymatic activities of plasma serine proteases. Plasma enzymes were pre-activated as described in the methods and pre-incubated (10 min, at 37 °C) in presence of increasing amounts of (p-BthTX-I)2 K) and substrate hydrolysis was monitored for about 60 or 120 min. Residual activity was measured using (A) 2 mM HD-Pro-Phe-Arg-pNan or (B) 5 mM CH3OCO-D-CHA-Gly-Arg-pNa-AcOH, substrates for PKa and FXa, respectively. Bars graphs represent the endpoint at 60 min compared to 0.15 M NaCl. The experiment was repeated three times
