Effect of changes in coagulation factor activity on thrombin generation. This test is conducted at 30% and 50% AT activity. The adjustment method for each sample is as shown in the table above. Relative Values (%) = 100 × Parameters for each sample / The peak height value of the sample with PT 100%. PT% values 40% and 33% samples required the addition of an AT concentrate since it is not possible to mix and adjust the three samples while keeping the AT activity at 50%. PT% values 40% and 33% samples were adjusted by adding a small amount of recombinant AT concentrate and titrating to 50% AT. AT: antithrombin, PT: prothrombin time.
